The 23rd Annual Wetzel County Autumnfest will take place October 9th through the 11th at the Wetzel County 4-H Grounds, just off Route 7 outside of New Martinsville, West Virginia. There will be something fun for everyone. Admissions and parking are free. Everyday will feature vendors, crafters and a flea market. Camping is available on site for $15 per night.
The festivities get underway on Friday with a huge health fair complete with free screenings in the Mollohan Center, a pumpkin decorating contest, scarecrow contest, and an apple pie contest. Entertainment for the day will be County Sounds, Plum Lost, and Back Roads.
A big day is scheduled on Saturday, including a tractor show and gas engine show. Contests include a horse shoe pitch and corn hole. The day’s entertainment will be provided by the Mountain State Bluegrass Band and Ben Tharp.
Autumnfest wraps up on Sunday with euchre & cinch tournaments. Entertainment will be provided by the Rodney Sands Band.
